Back after a short break to get some stuff done in real life :) and continuing from where I left off last week.

Another beautiful song that retains the jazzy, bluesy undertones used in the rest of the soundtrack. This song was sung by the silvery voiced Asha Bhonsle. There are several spots in the songs where the lyric is muffled and I had to guess the word.

Word Definitions

1 தூண்டில் - refers to a fishing line. In a figurative context this refers to  bait.

2 எண்ணுவாய் - meaning assume. Also 'you will count'. எண்ணு means count, think.

3 மையல் - meaning lust after, sexual allure. Also means arrogance.

4 நீளம் கொள்ளும் - Both words in this expression have alternate spellings. If either one is misspelt the expression can become comical. நீலம் means blue,  நீளம் refers to length. In this expression it refers to extending time.  கொல்லும் means to kill, கொள்ளும் means become, to store.
